Russia is planning a hybrid attack against Moldova on the eve of the presidential elections and the referendum on membership of the European Union.

Axar.az reports that "Bloomberg" published information referring to sources familiar with the assessments of British intelligence.

Britain will share intelligence with Moldovan authorities in the coming months to counter the threat of Russian agents, the agency said.

It should be noted that the election in Moldova will be held on October 20. Moldova's pro-European President Maya Sandu will run for a second term. On that day, a referendum on the country's accession to the EU will be held.
