Last night, a strong fire broke out in the "Shopping City" shopping center located at Arshakunyats 17 in Yerevan.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia released information about this.

"The fire alarm was received at 03:51. 10 fire brigades, operational units of the Ministry of Emergencies and other specialists were involved in the incident," the information says.

According to preliminary information, the fire covered an area of ​​about 1,000 square meters, and six shopping pavilions were completely destroyed:

"Other commercial facilities with a total area of ​​1,500 square meters were seriously damaged. The fire was localized at 06:42, and completely extinguished at 07:11."
