The participants of the last round of negotiations held in Cairo to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip have made significant progress.

Axar.az reports that with this statement, the Egyptian TV channel "Al-Qahira al-Ikhbariya" broadcasted information citing a high-ranking source.

According to him, the Egyptian delegation discussed all the necessary details with Hamas representatives and the members of the organization will leave Cairo soon. They are expected to return to the Egyptian capital in the next two days and give a final answer to the proposal. No other details about the progress and results of the consultations have been given yet.
