The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, is against the participation of EU representatives in Vladimir Putin's swearing-in ceremony, but a unified position has not been formed at the moment.

Axar.az reports that Peter Stano, representative of the diplomatic service of the EU, said this.

According to him, the invitations sent by the Kremlin to the inauguration ceremony were delivered to the representations of the EU countries in Moscow:

"We are currently discussing the form of our response with EU member states. We always try to show a coordinated EU approach to foreign policy wherever possible. The final decision has not been made yet."
