Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited the regions bordering Azerbaijan in the south of the country.
Axar.az reports that according to information, Pashinyan reviewed infrastructure projects in the region. He got acquainted with the construction of the M-2 Yerevan-Arazdeyan-Gorus-Megri-Iranian border highway connecting Iran and Armenia and concrete damming works in the river passing through the center of Gafan city.
Pashinyan also held meetings with local residents during his visit. Later, he went to Shurnukhu village, located on the border with Gubadli district, where he participated in the distribution of houses built for Armenian families who were moved from the border by drawing lots.
It should be noted that earlier it was reported that N. Pashinyan will visit the southern regions of Armenia and stay there for 3 days.
