Tehran Mayor Alireza Zakani has announced that he has withdrawn from the presidential elections in Iran.

Axar.az informs that Iranian media reported on this.

It should be noted that the candidates in the extraordinary presidential elections in Iran are: Speaker of the Parliament Mohammadbagir Ghalibaf, Member of Parliament Masoud Pezeshkian, Representative of the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in the Security Council Said Jalili, former Minister of Internal Affairs and Justice Mustafa Pourmohammadi.

Today, Iran's Vice President Amirhossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi announced that he has withdrawn his candidacy in the presidential elections.

It should be noted that the 14th presidential elections will be held in Iran on June 28.
