The US State Department does not rule out that Washington will allow Ukraine to strike from a greater distance into Russian territory if the Russian military tries to expand the current front.

Axar.az reports that US Assistant Secretary of State James O'Brien said these words in response to a question about how many Russian air bases are in the range of ATACMS missiles.

At the same time, O'Brien said that the Russian Federation has lost power due to attacks on border areas.

It should be noted that the firing range of ATACMS missiles is 300 km. Currently, US weapons are allowed to shoot down military objects that pose a threat to Ukraine only in the border areas.
