There are countries in the West that are paving the way for the Third World War, while Russian President Vladimir Putin is talking about peace.
Axar.az reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this.
"It is clear that arms dealers need money. The market for arms dealers is the West. Turkiye hopes to prevent the expansion of the Ukrainian conflict on a global scale and to resolve it soon. During the talks with Russian leader Putin, we discussed the topic of Ankara's mediation in resolving the Ukrainian conflict. From the first day of the conflict, we have held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky. We had the opportunity to discuss the questions "where our mediation can go and how effective it can be" during these negotiations. In fact, during my meeting with Russian President Mr. Putin, we discussed the issue of mediation again," he said.
Erdogan added that Turkiye expects to become a permanent member of the SCO in the future, but it may take time:
"Ankara wants to continue developing relations with Russia and China within the framework of the SCO."
