The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) will send a mission of observers to the extraordinary parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan on September 1.

Axar.az was informed about this by ODIHR.

"We have received an invitation to observe the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan in 2024, and the number of observers will probably be the same as in the presidential elections held in February. It is too early to talk about the exact details," the Bureau said.

It should be noted that on June 28, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the dissolution of the sixth convocation of the Milli Majlis and the appointment of early elections to the Milli Majlis. According to the decree, the sixth convocation of the Milli Majlis was canceled and early elections were scheduled for September 1.
