US President Joe Biden said that he does not intend to withdraw from the election race and is confident that he will defeat Republican Donald Trump.

Axar.az reports that Biden expressed this in his letter addressed to the leadership of the Democratic factions in the Congress. The text of the letter was published on his page on the X social network.

The current owner of the White House stressed that despite the speculations in the press, he is determined to finish the election race and defeat Donald Trump.

Biden says that he does not "turn a blind eye" to the concerns raised after the debate with Trump.

"I can answer all of this loud and clear: I would not seek re-election if I did not fully believe that I was in a better position than anyone else to defeat Donald Trump in 2024," the letter stated.
