An earthquake struck Iran's Simnan province today.

Axar.az reports that Hussein Derakhshan, director of the Simnan branch of the Red Crescent Society, reported this.

The earthquake was recorded in the Amiriyeh region, with a magnitude of 4.7.

It was reported that two assessment teams were sent to the area immediately after the incident.

There are no reports of any injuries or damage.
