Russia hit Kyiv, mourning was declared

Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, declared mourning on July 9.

Axar.az reports that the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, announced this on his Telegram account.

According to him, flags will be lowered in all municipal buildings in the city today. It is also recommended to lower state flags in public and private buildings.

Klitschko emphasized that it is forbidden to hold any entertainment events in the city on July 9:

"We appeal to TV channels and radio stations to make appropriate changes in the broadcast schedule. Removal of destruction in the capital continues."

It should be noted that today Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 40 missiles of various types. 22 people died as a result of the attacks. Another 72 people were injured.
