Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has reduced the share of the National Development Fund from oil and gas revenues by 20 percent.

Axar.az reports that he has agreed to the proposal of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian regarding this matter.

It is reported that as a result of this agreement, state debts to grain producers and farmers have been paid, and some supply issues have been resolved.

It is worth noting that 60 percent of the fund's total assets are formed from oil revenues, while the remaining part comes from non-oil resources.
