Israel shuts three border points with Jordan

Israel has closed all three border crossings with Jordan until further notice.

Axar.az reports that this information was released by the Israel Airports Authority.

"The Jordanian border crossing near the city of Beit She'an in the north of the country, the crossing point at the Allenby Bridge, and the Rabin border crossing near the city of Eilat in the south have been closed," the statement said.

It is noted that the decision to close the border was made after a terrorist attack on September 8 at the Allenby Bridge, which resulted in the death of three Israelis. According to the "Times of Israel," the shooter was the driver of a truck coming from Jordan.
