Erdogan and Pezeshkian discuss bilateral relations

The details of the meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian that took place yesterday became known.

Axar.az reports that the Turkish press reported on this.

According to information, during the meeting, Erdogan told Pezeshkian that it is important to take steps that will serve peace against Israeli aggression, which threatens regional security.

"The international community must raise its voice on the basis of international law, diplomacy and human rights to end the violence carried out by Israel in the Palestinian and Lebanese territories as soon as possible. Turkiye is increasing its efforts to provide humanitarian aid to civilians in the Palestinian territories. This is done especially in the Gaza Strip, where massacres by Israel took place."

Touching on the historical and cultural relations between Turkiye and Iran, Erdogan expressed confidence that bilateral relations will develop and strengthen in all areas.
