Russia militarizes Ukrainian children

Investigations are underway into 11 cases related to the militarization of Ukrainian children in temporarily occupied territories.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ukraine's Attorney General Andriy Kostin.

The Attorney General noted that in the occupied territories, Russians are conducting ideological indoctrination of Ukrainian children, particularly by involving them in militarized organizations.

“Children are being given Russian passports, and their information is being altered. Minors are being 're-educated' in the spirit of Russian propaganda and are being recruited into organizations like 'Yunarmiya' and other militarized groups. In Crimea alone, nearly 900 such units have been created, involving more than 29,000 children,” Kostin stated.
