US and West seek role in Armenia-Azerbaijan peace talks

The United States and several Western countries are attempting to engage in the process of working on a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of Russia, while commenting on the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan.

“As you know, the U.S. and several other Western countries are trying to get involved in the process of working on a peace treaty. We believe that all the 'drafting work' has been done in Moscow.”

He noted that the Western countries want to involve themselves in the negotiation process with their actions, thus intervening in regional affairs.
