Yesterday, Israeli soldiers entered Syria's Al-Quneitra province and established a foothold in a small area.

Axar.az informs that Syrian media reported the incident.

It was stated that the reason for the entry of the IDF into the area was that it had been used for shelling the Golan Heights and transporting Hezbollah fighters.

It is believed that the Israelis have occupied a zone one kilometer wide and half a kilometer deep within Syrian territory. The Israeli military dismantled agricultural facilities in the area and set up barbed wire fences.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the Israeli operations in Al-Quneitra began on September 22. Initially, the IDF cleared the border zone of mines, and later, with the support of tanks and engineering equipment, they advanced 300 meters into Syrian territory and dug trenches.

The Syrian side offered no resistance to the Israeli incursion. Additionally, Russian military personnel are also present in the area. They have withdrawn from part of their positions near the Golan Heights and are now establishing new positions in Al-Quneitra.

It was also reported yesterday that Israeli special forces and armored vehicles crossed the Syrian border from the Golan Heights toward the village of Qudana, advancing half a kilometer and establishing new positions.
