He sued the leader of the opposition Republican People's Party (RPP) Ozgur Ozel and the mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoghlu, due to insulting statements directed at the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az reports with reference to "A Haber" that the head of state demanded 1 million Turkish lira ($29,000) from each of them as moral compensation.
