The new administration of Syria has appointed Mohammed al-Bashir as the caretaker Prime Minister of the transitional government.

Axar.az reports that according to Turkish media, this decision was made after a meeting between the armed opposition's operations commander Ahmad al-Shara, Mohammed al-Bashir, and the former Prime Minister of the regime, Mohammed al-Jalali, who was appointed to manage the government.

Who is Mohammed al-Bashir?

He was born in 1983 in Idlib province. He studied electrical and electronic engineering at Aleppo University in 2007 and later studied Sharia and law at Idlib University in 2021.

In 2022, he worked as the Director of Association Affairs in the Idlib Revolutionary Liberation Government, and later as the Minister of Development and Humanitarian Affairs.
