The Bundestag refused to express confidence in German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at its extraordinary session.
Axar.az reports that the refusal to trust Sholts opened the way for early parliamentary elections in the country.
According to information, out of 717 deputies who participated in the meeting, 207 supported the current head of the Cabinet of Ministers, 116 abstained. 394 parliamentarians voted against Scholtz's confidence request.
Chairman of the Bundestag Barbel Bas said that the President of the country Frank-Walter Steinmeier will be informed about the results.
