The number of Ukrainian military personnel in Kursk is very limited - up to three thousand and several dozen units of heavy equipment.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by military analyst Ivan Stupak.

"The third day of the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region is underway. We must understand that we have very limited forces there - there are not hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers lined up and heading for Kursk, Kaluga, the Moscow region. The count is probably from several hundred to 3 thousand servicemen and several dozen units of heavier equipment. That is, this operation is limited in resources, in people, equipment, in the scale of advancement," he emphasized.

According to him, this operation has a 30% military component and 70% is political.
