Russian troops have taken control of the area to the northwest of Chasiv Yar.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by ‘RIA Novosti’ citing the volunteer corps fighting within the ‘South’ military group.

As a result of a successful operation by the 200th Motorized Rifle Brigade, operating within the volunteer corps, the Severny microdistrict of Chasiv Yar has been liberated. The corps’ units now fully control the area to the northwest of the city," the report stated.

It was also mentioned that strikes are being carried out on Ukrainian positions located south of the railway.
