The Turkish government has said it is ready to send its military to Ukraine as peacekeepers if the conflict in Ukraine is resolved.

Axar.az informs that Bloomberg reported on this.

"Turkey, which has the second largest army in NATO after the United States, is open to sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine," the report said.

It was noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the possibility of sending peacekeeping forces during his meetings with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in February.

According to the report, Ankara will be ready to send peacekeepers if it participates in all contacts regarding the formation of a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
