EU-Ukraine summit begins in London

The European summit on Ukraine began on Sunday at Lancaster House in central London.

According to the report, representatives of 18 countries and associations are participating in the meeting organized by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer:

"The event is attended by the leaders of Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, Sweden, as well as the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Council Antonio Costa, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan represents Turkiye. The summit participants also include the Ukrainian Ambassador to London, Valerii Zaluzhnyi."

Before the meeting, it was noted that the summit participants would focus on strengthening Ukraine's positions, including military supplies to Kiev and economic pressure on Russia.
