Selaković, Serbian Minister of Culture, was attacked

Amid protests in Novi Sad, Serbia, the country's Minister of Culture, Nikol Selaković, was attacked, resulting in a broken nose.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on his Instagram account.

"They also attacked Minister Selaković this evening and think they have solved the problem. They simply demonstrated once again what they think about democracy in this country and how they will treat those who think differently," he wrote.

It is worth noting that on March 7, students held a protest march in Novi Sad, with a large number of citizens joining them.

Protests have been ongoing in the country for a long time following the collapse of a platform at the train station on November 1, 2024, which resulted in the deaths of 15 people.
