A 6.4-magnitude earthquake has struck the shores of Greece.

Axar.az reports the information was provided by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The epicenter of the tremors was located 66 km south of the island of Karpatos, which has a population of around 2,200. The earthquake's epicenter was at a depth of 14 km.

There have been no reports of casualties or damage.
