Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will pay an official visit to Belarus at the end of this month.
Axar.az reports that Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov said this at a meeting with students.
"The Iranian President will visit our country within the framework of the meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of the Eurasian Economic Union on June 26-27. His participation in the economic forum will also be combined with his official visit," the Belarusian Foreign Minister said.
According to him, Tehran and Minsk view many international issues with the same eyes. In addition, Iran is important for Belarus in terms of logistics and the delivery of Belarusian goods.
"We are closely following the development of the North-South Corridor passing through Iran, because we hope that this will increase our opportunities to deliver our goods to both India and Southeast Asia," the minister added.
