Pakistan is ready to work with Russia for a brighter and more prosperous future.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari during his speech at a reception organized by the Russian Embassy in Islamabad on the occasion of Russia Day (June 12).

"I am confident that the bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Russia will further strengthen. As we mark this important occasion tonight, let us reaffirm our commitment to building bridges of understanding and cooperation between our countries. Let us seize the opportunities ahead and work together for a brighter and more prosperous future. Long live the friendship between Pakistan and Russia," Zardari said.
