Moscow is closely monitoring the events in Armenia, including those involving the Armenian Apostolic Church and its spiritual center in Etchmiadzin.

Axar.az informs that this was stated by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“We are not in the habit of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. We are genuinely interested in preserving stability, the rule of law, and sustainable development in friendly and brotherly Armenia. To achieve this, it is necessary to implement in practice the democratic values declared by the Armenian leadership, respect for the feelings of the faithful, and commitment to the principles of religious freedom,” the statement said.
