Real Madrid announced on its official website that the team delegation arrived safely at New York Airport from Palm Beach Airport, following a delay of more than two hours caused by a strong tropical storm.

Axar.az informs according to foreign media, the team's plane was forced to circle in the skies over Washington for three and a half hours before receiving permission to land, amidst reports confirming the intervention of FIFA to facilitate the landing process under the complex weather conditions.

This delay resulted in the cancellation of the press conference for coach Xabi Alonso before the match against Paris Saint-Germain, in addition to the cancellation of the scheduled media statements for Federico Valverde, Jakobo, and Thibaut Courtois in the mixed zone.

Real Madrid is preparing for an anticipated match against Paris Saint-Germain this evening at the iconic MetLife Stadium, which seats more than 80,000 spectators, in the semi-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup held in the United States.
