Following last month’s major strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appear united in public but reportedly differ behind the scenes on how to proceed.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that while both leaders hailed the attacks as a significant setback to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, their goals diverge.

Trump favors diplomatic efforts focused on preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Netanyahu, however, reportedly wants to maintain military pressure — even to the point of threatening regime stability — to force Iran to dismantle its enrichment program entirely.

Intelligence suggests Iran still has the capability to rebuild, raising questions about the long-term effectiveness of the strikes.
