Russia captured two villages in Donetsk region

Russian forces took control of 15 settlements in the area of the special military operation over the past week, including Nikanorovka and Gruzskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that Russia’s Defense Ministry made the announcement on Friday.

“Over the past week, units of the Southern Group of Forces took more advantageous positions and liberated the settlement of Izhevka, while yesterday, September 3, they liberated the settlement of Nikanorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the ministry said.
