Trump rejects Iranian proposal to reopen Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump has said he has rejected an Iranian proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within a week and resume nuclear talks in return for the lifting of the US naval blockade of Iranian ports.

Axar.az reports, citing The Guardian, that Trump made the remarks to reporters at the White House.

“They made a proposal but I reject it,” he said.
