Air Tanzania suspends Moscow flights

Air Tanzania has temporarily suspended flights between Tanzania’s Dar es Salaam and Moscow as of September 4.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the airline announced that the decision was made following a planned risk assessment of the conditions for operating flights on the route.

"The airline will continue to monitor the situation and will announce the resumption of flights following a further assessment,” the statement said.

It should be noted that Turkish airlines also suspended flights to Russia following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s warning that Russian airspace would no longer be safe starting September 1.
