Liverpool sign French youngster Djylian N'Guessan

English club Liverpool have signed Djylan N'Guessan from French side Saint-Etienne.

Axar.az reports that according to Liverpool’s official website, the clubs have reached an agreement over the transfer of the 18-year-old forward. N'Guessan will join Liverpool on a permanent basis in January.

The French footballer will spend the remainder of the 2026/27 season on loan at Ligue 1 side Brest.

It should be noted that N'Guessan is a product of Saint-Etienne’s youth academy. He made his first-team debut in January 2025 and has made 13 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.

The forward also made seven appearances for France at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where France finished fourth. Last summer, N'Guessan scored four goals at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship and was named in the tournament’s team of the tournament.
