Russian President Vladimir Putin did not have any phone conversations with Donald Trump when he was not serving as U.S. President.

Axar.az informs this was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov during a briefing.

Earlier, CNN released a recording of Donald Trump speaking to donors of his election campaign. The future U.S. president allegedly said he had threatened to “bomb Moscow” if Vladimir Putin tried to resolve the Ukraine issue by military force, and similarly threatened Chinese President Xi Jinping with bombing Beijing over the Taiwan issue.

“The thing is, there were no phone conversations at that time. As far as I understand, this refers to the period when Trump was not yet President of the United States,” Peskov noted.
