Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has called on European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen to resign over corruption allegations against her.
Axar.az reports that Orban posted this on his X account.
Orban accompanied this publication with a portrait of Leyen and wrote "Time to go."
A vote of confidence in the EC president will be held in Strasbourg on July 10.
It should be noted that the Hungarian Prime Minister has long been a harsh critic of the current leadership of the European Union, including its policies on migration, the conflict in Ukraine, sanctions against Russia, as well as the union's economic relations with China and the United States.
The reason for the vote of confidence in Leyen in the European Parliament was, first of all, the accusations against her regarding the European Union's purchase of a COVID-19 vaccine that did not pass clinical trials during the pandemic.
