Russian occupying forces have already launched their summer offensive.
Axar.az reports that this was stated by military expert and retired major of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Aleksey Hetman.
He noted that the enemy is becoming active in areas where it previously failed to gain ground. According to him, strikes are expected on several front-line sectors mentioned by the Ukrainian president:
“The Commander-in-Chief stated that we expect action in the north-south Slobozhanske direction, possibly also in the southern areas — Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. And clearly, this includes the Kupyansk–Lyman direction. As for the eastern front, it covers Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and Kostiantynivka.”
Hetman added that any army preparing for an attack usually advances at least slightly. He emphasized that the issue is about how deep that advance is and the cost in casualties:
“There has never been a case in history where a well-prepared army began an offensive and didn’t move forward at all.”
