Yesterday fans of Azerbaijan football were very excited for the game that was far away from them and as all fans, they wanted to watch their team’s Qarabagh’s game alive at least from TV. That’s why two big sports channels of Azerbaijan did their best to buy the game. But obviously, Moldavian football federation and TV channels didn’t want to show the game that they will lose or they wanted to earn maximum money from Champions league because it was their last Champions league game this season.

Anyway as fans we did everything we could we browsed live streams, some Moldavian sports channels and etc. and somehow we watched the game. We didn’t watch just the game we witnessed history. The history that will change the whole faith of our country’s football.

From the first minute, the Moldavian champion was very determined. They were attacking and tried to find mistakes in Qarabagh’s defense. But our genius head coach Gurban Gurbanov knew that and he trained the team for this situation. So players of Sheriff gave all their mind and strength to the attack and in the last minute of the first half striker of Qarabagh, Dino Ndlovu showed up. He passed two defenders by his own with beautiful skills and made a spectacular shot that the goalkeeper could only watch. In the second half, same scenery happened. Sheriff only attacked but Qarabagh played clever and beautiful football that ended up with the second goal in 87th minute with the beautiful assist of Ansi and spectacular header from Michel.

Footballers did it, they made us proud and now it is the time for us to be one body one heart for Qarabagh as a nation. Yesterday night for the first time in history UEFA Champions league’s official page introduced Qarabagh as an Azerbaijanian team. Believe it or not, it made plenty of Armenians and our other enemies angry. So we want from our lovely team to continue his glories and put his golden steps to the history. Close your belts Europe this is only beginning!
