Turkiye-Azerbaijan joint military exercise begins

Preparations for the “Unity Power 2026” military exercise have been completed by Turkiye’s 14th Mechanized Infantry Brigade Command.

Axar.az reports, citing the Turkish Ministry of Defense, that as part of the exercise, Turkish troops began moving from the Kars garrison to Azerbaijan’s Gizilgaya and Garabaglar training areas on September 15.

The exercise is being conducted as part of military cooperation between Turkiye and Azerbaijan.
