A high-ranking military delegation led by Chief of the General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri will pay a visit to Azerbaijan, the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan told.

Axar.az reports that the delegation will hold several meetings as part of the two-day visit which will be organized at the invitation of the Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov.

Current relations and joint collaboration between Iran and Azerbaijan in military sphere, cross-border cooperation, fight against terrorism and ongoing developments in the region will be discussed during the visit.
