Russian peacekeepers set up a checkpoint in Khojaly

The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Russian Defense Ministry.

According to the report, in the mountainous area of Khojaly region, in the village of Sardarkand, the staff of the Center for Humanitarian Aid has set up a field station to provide specialized medical care to residents, refugees and IDPs.

"Today we provide assistance to the residents of the mountain village in the format of humanitarian and medical raids. This is an extraordinary mission - we have brought medical personnel here," said Major General Sergei Zhmurin, assistant commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
