"Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2023 between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was signed.

It should be noted that the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Zakir Hasanov, met with his Uzbek counterpart, Lieutenant General Bakhodir Gurbanov, who was on a visit to Baku. Zakir Hasanov informed his Uzbek counterpart about the operational conditions that arose after the decisive response measures taken by our Army against the recent provocations of the Armenian armed forces, as well as the work done in the field of army building.

B. Gurbanov specially noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the field of defense serves to further strengthen both armies.

During the meeting, prospects of development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in military, military-technical, military education and other fields, regional security, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed.
