Azerbaijan ready to renegotiate aviation agreement

Azerbaijan is ready to renegotiate aviation agreement with EU, Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev said.


He noted Azerbaijan had started negotiations on aviation agreement with EU, but the negotiations were suspended: “Azerbaijan has put forward several proposals. EU must consider them and announce date of negotiations, the agreement aims to develop aviation relations between Azerbaijan and EU”.


“EU also is ready for negotiations”, Malena Mard, head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan also said, “The agreement will contribute to both Azerbaijan and EU for increase of competitiveness in aviation”.
