Moscow's allocation of 5 billion dollars to Tehran will not be welcomed in Russia.

Gabil Huseynli, a former state advisor who clarified some of the questions about Iran's decision to buy $ 5 billion from Russia, told this statement to Axar.az.

He said that Russia's, which is under the sanctions of the United States and the European Union, allocation of $ 5 billion to Iran is surprising:

"First of all, today there is a serious financial crisis in Russia. Moreover, the limits of this crisis are expanding and affect the material well-being of the population. In such a situation, Moscow will not be welcomed in Russia by granting 5 billion euros to Tehran while Russian people need that money".

The politician, however, said the issue would be more useful for Russia:

Russia, isolated by world's leading forces, aims to become a dominant force and hegemony in the Middle East. In this regard, Iran can provide its military and political support. It is the fact that, Iran has military-political interests in this region too. But Iran understands that they will not be able to reach their goal and will be responsible for support to Russia. As a result, Iran's dependence on Russia will increase further. Therefore, Russia's credit operations will serve to further strengthen Moscow's geostrategic interests around the Middle East and the Indian Ocean".

It should be noted that the Iranian parliament has decided to allow the government to receive $ 5 billion from Russia. Iran has already received $ 2 billion of the amount.

These funds will be spent on infrastructure projects.
