The fact that Azerbaijan is the 53rd most powerful country in the world is a response to Armenia.

Political scientist T.Abbasov told this to Axar.az during his comment on Defense Minister Z.Hasanov's statement about high-level preparation of the Azerbaijani army and the possible murder of the enemy at any time.

"Armenia is trying to have a psychological impact on Azerbaijan with its recent threat statements. However, the fact that Azerbaijan is the 53rd most powerful country in the world is a response to Armenia. Azerbaijan unequivocally relies on itself and the level of our army is high. If Armenia creates a problematic situation, the war will be inevitable, and many states will continue to support our justified position. Turkey is also on this list" - he stressed out.

T. Abbasov also commented on the issue of setting up Turkish military bases in Azerbaijan:

"Our relations with Turkey are tested and reliable. However, our strategic and military cooperation with any country does not mean that the state should create a military base in Azerbaijan. In this sense, the deployment of Turkish military bases in Nakhchivan is not on the agenda yet."

Political scientist Elkhan Sahinoglu said that Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov's statement on high-level preparation of the Azerbaijani army and the possible murder of the enemy at any time can be a response to a statement by Armenian Minister David Tonoyan "We can expand the occupation."

"Zakir Hasanov's recent statement has the following sentence: "We are currently using the experience of the states that are in the war. We use Turkey's experience in military training. Because the brother country has great experience in this field."

As you can see, Zakir Hasanov specially mentioned Turkey. Zakir Hasanov wants to say that if Armenia uses the Russian military experience, we use Turkish military experince and we will continue to using it. Very well, but we should acknowledge that Russia has military bases in Armenia; Turkey does not have military bases in Azerbaijan. It's time to solve this issue as well" - he added.
