Visit happened yesterday was an important step on improvement of Turkey-Iraq relations.

Leader of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Arshad Salehi told this to Axar.az during his comment on Prime Minister of Iraq Adil Abdulmehdi’s trip to Turkey.

According to him, parties agreed on many issues after bilateral and multilateral talks:

“They agreed on solving water problem which was one of the main topics discussed. Mr. Erdogan also emphasized that, Turkish council will be reopened in Iraq.”

Salehi told that, after this meeting economical relation between these countries will rapidly improve:

“Businessmen’s and employers’ trips to Turkey planned amid to improve trade relations between Turkey and Iraq.

Also the military cooperation and truth agreement between two countries is gratifying event.”
