This issue should be considered from two perspectives. First, the conflict between the US and Turkey has started neither today nor yesterday.

The conflict between these two countries began when Turkey's current President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was prime minister. From that time on, deterioration of relations between the two NATO allies has taken place.

Famous Russian political scientist Oleg Kuznetsov told this during his interview to Axar.az.

"It's no secret that Coup d'etat in Turkey was coordinated at NATO's Incirlik base. Even the order to shoot down a Russian aircraft that led to the deterioration of Russian-Turkish relations was given from that base. This was one of the elements included in the plans for a coup d'état against Erdogan. Erdogan was well aware of this. Exactly today, the Incirlik base is not supplied with electricity, and entry into the base has been closed by the Turkish army. After the signing of the S-400 missile supplement, it became clear that Turkey would not integrate into NATO's full-fledged structure" - Kuznetsov said.
