Azercell - the exclusive partner of Ganja Marathon

Along with the official support, dozens of Azercell employees joined the marathon to overcome 17 km distance.

As a company which has always initiated projects aimed at the development of sports industry and healthy lifestyle in our country, Azercell Telecom acted as an exclusive partner of Ganja Marathon - 2017 project held on September, 17 with the initiative of Public Association for Regional Development (OOPR) of the Haydar Aliyev Foundation and with the support of the Ganja Executive Power. The ancient city of Ganja was the first city to host the Marathon among the regions under the slogan “Write the history with your will”. About 11 thousand participants completed the marathon of 17 km distance starting from Triumphal Arch to the finish line in Park Complex named after Haydar Aliyev.

About 60 employees of the company, led by company CEO Mr.Vahid Mursaliyev also joined the marathon, aimed to create a new culture in the sport's history of Azerbaijan. The goal of the event is to assist the development of sports industry, promote healthy lifestyle and the ideas of solidarity inspiring people of different age groups to engage in good deeds. The marathon also promotes the value of public unity in a society in which people are regularly doing sports.

By supporting such social projects, Azercell, the leading mobile operator of the communications industry in Azerbaijan, calls its subscribers and all the people living in this country to lead a healthy lifestyle.
